The Middle East: An earthly paradise that is just awaiting to be sculpted out

I have come to change my mind about the Arab Spring. At first, I thought it was yet just another trick used by the powerful of this planet to effectuate a land grab or, on the other hand, a ruse used by the Islamists to get rid of the bloody dictators who had stopped them from taking power, or both of these two scenarios. You know, in the sense that now that fierce dictators were out of the way, western powers could move in, with the complicity of the Islamists, or vice versa, and take whatever they want at the expanse of any real democracy. But now, I see it differently. The Arab and Muslim populations of the Middle East are caught in a time loop. Because of Islam, they are stuck in 7th century A.D. They can’t get out of it and evolve from there. That’s why Islam must die. The population of the Middle East will never be able to evolve and attain happiness until Islam is defeated and abolished. Judaism and Christianity have shown that they are very well capable of creating societies that are wealthy, rich, prosperous, and all things being equal, happy. Corporations are very efficient when it is time to create wealth, jobs and opportunities. This competence to create prosperity and richness should also be available to develop other parts of the world than just Europe and North America. It must be given to the Middle East, even by force, as a way to help it get out of its own misery.
That’s why today I want to give my blessing to it. Go for it. The Middle East needs to be transformed, for its population’s sake and for our own sake. I can imagine it in a few decades or hundred years. This vast stretch of land, that certain call the Earth Island or Eurasia, will have become an earthly paradise. Instead of desert, one will see lands filled with magnificent green plants and flowers. Incredible crops will be nourished by incessant streams of water coming from the underground. From the Strait of Gibraltar to the confines of China, one will find only beauty, fresh air and harmony. Its population will have been freed from the burden of Islam. Instead, they will be under the soft rule of a new form of Christianity that will have reconciled will Judaism. Jerusalem will hold the Holy See, the place where the King-Messiah will reside in permanence, while the Catholic Church will be dead for a long time. Its women will be the freest and the most beautiful ones in the world. Brown-skinned or suntanned, they will have long hair down to the bottom, breasts as big as watermelons, with always a smile on their face. Men will long to be in their company and they won’t be disappointed. And children will play in full security and innocence, out of the reach of mind-controlling imams and mollahs. Graeme Hamilton on the Quebec media or how denunciation of sensationalist journalism becomes itself sensationalist journalism
I absolutely want to react to that unfortunate article written by Graeme Hamilton. First of all, I don’t know where Mr Hamilton resides. For myself, I have been residing in Quebec for the past 40 years, both in rural and urban areas, so I know my province. Last week, a story was presented by the Quebec media on certain bylaws prohibiting noize, such as construction or lawn mowing, in the city of Hampstead in the heart of Montreal, populated mainly by Jews. It was run, among others, by hosts like Richard Martineau and Benoit Dutrizac, as Hamilton’s article points out. However, I must disagree with the treatment of the facts presented by Hamilton. I know these folks. Being myself a strong opponent of anti-semitism, I wouldn’t hesitate to denounce them if they were guilty of that terrible psychological disease. If they were anti-semites, I think I would know.
To understand correctly the core of the argument, you have to go back in time to the centuries and decades during which the French-Canadian identity and spirit were formed. Following the takeover of New France by England in 1760, the French elite was either deported or left by itself for France, which let the people with only catholic priests as leaders. So the Catholic Church was given, by the circumstances, a carte blanche to do whatever they want with the population and its education. French-Canadians continued to evolve with only the voice of the Church to guide them, without any room for any other points of view. And that monopoly was only broken in the 1960s, when the Révolution Tranquille occured.

DSK’s attorney Ben Braffman speaking before the Ultra-Orthodox Legal Forum in 2009
Here is Ben Braffman, one of Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s attorneys. In this series of videos, he speaks before the Ultra-Orthodox Legal Forum in 2009. In his presentation, he focuses on a number of things that, according to him, the Jewish community should be aware of to be able to avoid problems with society in general and with the justice system in particular. In the light of what is happening to DSK, I think the importance of that conference cannot be underestimated. As an experienced attorney, he obviously has seen a lot of things, good and bad. So his advice to the community has a price and a weight that should to be taken into consideration. I just thought it would be interesting to have such a point of view a few weeks after the arrest of DSK. Considering the historical anti-semitism and the present attempts to delegitimize Israel and anything that has to do with Jewishness, members of the community must realize that the light is always heavier on a Jew that on the average man. This has to be remembered. Continuer la lecture
Israel is preparing to produce 50 000 barils of oil a day: Take that, Third Reich!
A major project in under way in Israel to produce a shale gas deposit in the area of Jerusalem. According to Dr Vinegar of Israel Energy Initiatives, Israel has the second-biggest shale deposit in the world, just under Saudi Arabia with a 250 billion barils estimate. It would allow Israel to produce domestically 50 000 barils a day out of the 270 000 barils that it needs for its daily consumption. Authorities are considering environmental risks, and are planning for a 18-month pilot phase, which would be followed by a 4-year demonstration phase. At this point, up to 1000 people could be employed by the time commercial exploitation begins. Take that, Third Reich! You have not won the war yet! We will fight you until our last breath!
