Alberta and Quebec: the birth of the new Canada

First, let me congratulate you, Neil, for having written this piece. By the way, the alchemical reference in the title is terrific. I think you begin to get the picture. Canada, historically, used to be a bipolar entity run by Ottawa, where resides federal power, and by Quebec with its « société distincte » based on language and culture.  So Ontario and Quebec used to be the two provinces where decisions were made or where trends were manufactured or developed. Now, in the 21st century, things are changing. With a planet of roughly 7 billion inhabitants, energy is a key element in the composition of a state.

In that regard, it is only logical that Alberta emerges now as the new center for English-Canada. Oil being increasingly determinant in shaping countries’s foreign policy, the province imposes itself as the new voice for stating the political agenda in the country. And Quebec, being already a giant in the production of electricity, may keep its position as a leader of influence, and even more if you consider that the province decided to add the oil-and-gas-industry to its portfolio and to undertake the exploitation of the Old Harry pit and of shale gas deposits in the St-Lawrence valley. If Ontario and Quebec used to be the two main voices in Canada until today, now it is Alberta and Quebec. Why Ontario isn’t anymore a leader in Canada, would you ask? Maybe because Ontario is synonymous with the past, when Canada was considered to be not much more than just a colony where companies could pillage natural resources and exploit the population for its workforce capabilities. In those years, much emphasis was being put on Canada’s inclusion in the Commonwealth and its disguised submission to the british royal family. In other terms, that vision of the country, which was fabricated for the 19th century when the country itself was born, is now outdated.

Like everything else, the political life evolves and countries with it. That is why the arrival of the Conservative Party is something interesting. Overall, they have a vision of the country, of foreign policy, of geo-politics that is much more mature than the one of the other parties. And the Bloc Québécois, after 20 years, begins to show cracks in the wall as many Quebeckers ask themselves about the pertinence to keep a sovereignist party in Ottawa that can’t do the sovereignty anyway and leaves us in the opposition forever. I always voted for the Bloc since its inception. But this coming election, I will vote for the Conservatives. They have a lot of policies with which I disagree…but they support Israel. You see, Israel is the barometer of a country’s foreign policy. You wanna know where a country lies on the geo-political scale? Check its policy toward Israel. It tells all. The fact that the Conservatives support Israel means that they would increase the pressure on Islamists, use tribunals to expulse them out of the country, take measures to protect our culture, our civilization and our values, etc. But, most importantly, it means that they get the picture of the geo-political theater and have a good take on the actors that are playing in it.

The Bloc Québécois was born when MPs from Quebec split away from their parties after the Meech Lake debacle. To use an image, it is almost as if the Progressive faction of the Progressive Conservative Party would have split. It probably has, since the Party slowly disintegrated afterwards. When it was brought back to life through a merger with the Canadian Alliance Party, the Progressive element had disappeared, only the Conservative element remained. You know what? I just had a crazy idea… What if the Conservative Party and the Bloc Québécois create a coalition to allow ourselves to have a majority in the Parliament? Wouldn’t it resemble Alberta and Quebec united? Wouldn’t it resemble a new Progressive Conservative Party? Michel Kelly-Gagnon is right with his analysis. It is time that we move on. And you are right, Neil. The fleur-de-lys and the rose could and can unite. It is probably one of the greatest realization of alchemy if we can achieve it. Let’s keep our eyes on the goal.

Le djihad d’Amir Khadir contre Israel: de l’antisémitisme prêt-à-porter?

Samedi dernier le 2 avril, le PAJU, i.e. les Palestiniens et Juifs Unis, ont tenu une réunion publique à la sortie du Métro Mont-Royal à Montréal. Encore une fois le chef du parti Québec Solidaire, Amir Khadir, s’est fait le défenseur des pauvres Palestiniens opprimés par un État, Israël, qui supposément pratiquerait l’apartheid. Or, tous ceux qui sont le moindrement informés sur la vie quotidienne en Israël savent très bien qu’il n’en est rien. Mais, comme la majorité des Québécois sont ignorants et qu’ils ne font rien pour sortir de leur ignorance, les membres du PAJU, de Québec (Dé)Solidaire et leurs complices des centrales syndicales peuvent continuer à inonder la société québécoise de leur propagande haineuse en toute impunité. En fait, ce qu’Amir Khadir, Québec Solidaire, le PAJU et leurs complices syndicaux essaient de faire, c’est de tenter de construire petit à petit une pensée antisémite qui se déguiserait hypocritement sous le manteau de la défense des opprimés. Comme les bourgeois du Plateau Mont-Royal et les Québécois en général sont politiquement plutôt à gauche, et que cela fait « chic » de toute façon de prendre la défense des opprimés, et ce sans connaître les faits qui sont en cause dans quelque conflit que ce soit dans le monde, ces bonnes gens de la classe moyenne se laissent séduire sans réfléchir par ce type de propagande. Le Président du mouvement Amitiés Québec-Israel nous offre ici l’histoire de Jérusalem. Encore une fois, nous devons nous rééduquer afin de résister et de lutter contre l’antisémitisme ambiant et médiatique qui est en train de corrompre nos sociétés. Ce texte est un outil de plus pour ce faire. Bonne lecture.

Durant plus de 2500 ans, la nostalgie de Sion et de Jérusalem devait accompagner le peuple juif dans ses diverses diasporas, depuis l’exil babylonien ordonné par Nabuchodonosor en 598-537 avant J.-C. et la conquête de Jérusalem précédant sa destruction par les soldats romains de Titus en 70 de l’ère chrétienne, date qui allait marquer le début de la grande dispersion. Cette nostalgie, attestée plus d’un millier de fois dans la Bible comme dans le Talmud, marque les prières quotidiennes et festives pour culminer en une acmé d’espoir à la fin de la Haggadah de la Pâque par cette formule consacrée: “L’an prochain à Jérusalem.” Certaines des plus poignantes expressions de ce sentiment furent composées par l’auteur des Psaumes:

Sur les rives des fleuves de Babylone, là nous nous assîmes et nous pleurâmes au souvenir de Sion. Aux saules qui les bordent nous suspendîmes nos harpes. (137, 1-2)

Si je t’oublie jamais, Jérusalem, que ma droite m’oublie ! Que ma langue s’attache à mon palais, si je ne me souviens de toi, si je ne place Jérusalem au sommet de toutes mes joies. (137, 5-7).

Célèbre, ô Jérusalem, l’Eternel, glorifie ton Dieu, ô Sion! (147, 12).

En 1948 plus de 2 000 Juifs avaient été évacués de leurs pauvres demeures, plusieurs fois centenaires, construites dans le quartier juif au sein de la Vieille Ville, là où précisément habitaient, dans de somptueuses villas, l’aristocratie, l’élite juive et la caste sacerdotale à l’époque du deuxième Temple. La plus grande partie des vingt-sept synagogues et yeshivot (écoles talmudiques) du quartier avaient été détruites pendant les combats. Les autres lieux de culte servirent de latrines ou d’écuries… Cet exode ne fut pas une fin en lui-même car aujourd’hui dans ce quartier rénové de nouveaux habitants arpentent les ruelles, côtoyant les visiteurs israéliens et les nombreux touristes étrangers venus admirer ce chef-d’œuvre de reconstruction et d’aménagement des vestiges exhumés qui font revivre le passé juif de la capitale d’Israël à jamais. Comme l’avait prophétisé le prophète Jérémie, la ville sera reconstruite sur ses ruines : « Ainsi parle l’Éternel : Voici, je ramène les captifs des tentes de Jacob, j’ai compassion de ses demeures ; la ville sera rebâtie sur ses ruines […]. » (Jé. 30. 18). Le texte biblique hébreu précise que Jérusalem sera reconstruite sur son tell (ses ruines).

Dès la réunification de la ville, le gouvernement entreprit un vaste chantier de restauration du quartier juif en prenant soin tout d’abord d’effectuer des fouilles archéologiques afin d’exhumer les ruines du passé, enfouies sous plusieurs mètres de gravats. Ceci ne correspond-t-il pas au cri du psalmiste : « […]Mais toi Éternel tu régneras à perpétuité, et ta mémoire dure de génération en génération. Tu te lèveras, tu auras pitié de Sion ; car le temps d’avoir pitié d’elle, le temps fixé est à son terme ; car tes serviteurs en aiment les pierres, ils en chérissent la poussière […]. » (Ps. 102. 13-23). La municipalité de Jérusalem, en collaboration avec la Direction israélienne des Antiquités, la Société de la réhabilitation et du développement du quartier juif, et le Ministère israélien des Affaires religieuses, fit revivre ce quartier en préservant son passé. Contrer l’ignorance et la propagande haineuse contre les Juifs et Israel: un travail des tous les instants

J’ai rassemblé quelques textes du site web Aschkel Info ainsi que la transcription, disponible sur le site JSS News, d’une conférence donnée par le professeur Alan Dershowitz. En cette période trouble de notre histoire où la propagande et le contrôle de l’information n’ont jamais été aussi omniprésents et déterminants, il est essentiel de remettre les pendules à l’heure pour aider nos concitoyens et compatriotes à comprendre les vrais enjeux, afin qu’ils puissent ainsi résister intelligemment et de façon efficace. Il serait trop long de reprendre point par point le contenu de tous ces articles. Il est plutôt à votre avantage et de votre devoir de le faire vous-mêmes, puisque cette information n’a pas passé à travers le prisme déformant de la propagande médiatique occidentale, vendue aux islamistes.

Voyez-vous, l’Occident craint de manquer d’énergie dans les prochaines années si jamais la Chine ou la Russie réussit à prendre le contrôle des ressources pétrolières au moyen-Orient et en Afrique. Comme Israel est un pays modéré, démocratique, européen de culture et donc incompatible avec le fascisme islamique qui est en vogue présentement, toute une série de mesures sont mises en place pour attaquer Israel et le dénigrer au niveau international, et tout ça pour faire plaisir à nos « alliés » islamistes, notamment les Frères musulmans. Soit dit en passant, la philosophie économique et financière adoptée par les islamistes se réclame d’un penseur musulman du XIVième siècle, Ibn Khaldun. Il propose système capitaliste basée sur les corporations, tout à fait compatible avec les systèmes fascistes du vingtième siècle que l’on a vu naître, comme l’Italie mussolinienne et l’Allemagne nazie. En gros, l « entente » est la suivante: les islamistes collaborent avec les efforts occidentaux de déstabilisation de la Russie, de la Chine et au fond de l’Orient en général pour sécuriser son accès au pétrole, et en retour, les occidentaux permettent aux islamistes d’assumer plus de leadership au niveau politique et de déverser leur fiel haineux envers les Juifs, fiel qui est présent je vous le rappelle dans le texte même du Coran. La haine des Juifs n’a pas commencé avec la création de l’État d’Israel. Si on se concentre uniquement sur l’Islam pour les fins de notre discussion, il est bon de savoir que la première chose que Mahomet a fait après avoir conquis la péninsule arabique au 7ième siècle, a été d’exterminer les Juifs. Tout un démocrate, hein? D’autres passages du Coran appellent les croyants à tuer les Juifs, à mentir au non-musulmans, etc. C’est pourquoi l’information présentée ici doit être véhiculée et partagée avec vos amis, familles et connaissances. Il en va de notre avenir à tous et d’une paix durable sur Terre.

J’ai également joint un vidéo montrant des célébrations tenues lors de l’anniversaire de la libération de la vieille cité de Jérusalem. Observez bien l’énergie qui se dégage. Est-ce que ça ressemble à ce qu’on dit des Juifs dans les médias, à savoir que ce sont des gens remplis de haine, qui ont soif de sang, qui ne peuvent s’empêcher de tuer, torturer et d’expulser des pauvres Palestiniens? Pas du tout, on le voit par ces images. Les Juifs sont, de façon générale, des gens doux, gentils, aimables, pacifiques, démocrates. En fait, ce qu’il faut comprendre, c’est que ce que l’on reproche aux Juifs dans les médias occidentaux en termes de comportements et attitudes, ce sont les islamistes et les Arabes qui les incarnent la plupart du temps. Hitler parlait de la propagande comme étant l’art de complètement renverser les faits. C’est exactement ce qui se passe ici avec la propagande anti-juive et anti-israelienne. Réveillez-vous avant qu’il ne soit trop tard.

A resistant against Islamic fascism sets the example: continue to fight back, Yoel!

Resistance is Life!Yoel Zilberman, a young israeli military, has decided to fight back. Tired of the incessant harassment, beatings, robberies, mayhems, sabotages, exactions, violence, etc, that his people but especially the farmers have to suffer since the creation of the State of Israel, he then decided to create a militia with the agreement of the government. Composed for the moment of roughly 600 people, Zilberman wants to make it grow up to 6000 people by 2015.  Seven Preparation Centers have been deployed to protect the lands, the farmers and the people of Israel. You see? That’s the spirit of the Resistance. Instead of passively accepting the violence of the Islamic and Arab anti-semites that populate Palestine, he has decided to take matters into his own hands. Israel will defend its borders and territory against the malfeasance of Islamic and Arab Freicorps and Brownshirts.

By the way, the Arab population in Palestine has passed from 250 000 in 1880 up to 1 250 000 in 1948 (Source: Aschkel Info). So much for the « occupied » Palestinian population. I recall to your attention that the Balfour Declaration of 1922 created the basic structure for the State of Israel. You see, when a state is occupied, normally the inhabitants seek to flee the country, not to get in in such great numbers as they did. As such, everyone can see there that there is much more to the issue of Palestinian « refugees » than meets the eye, i.e. that anti-semite Islamic fascists and fundamentalists emigrated to Israel to bring terror, death and destruction to Israelis. My Jew friends, if you don’t defend yourselves, there is new Shoah that is coming soon and this time, that won’t be the Germans who will perpetrate it but the Islamists. So stand up and fight! Don’t stand down before the human filth and dirt and is coming from the Muslim world, fight back!

Israel seizes German-owned cargo ship carrying weapons…from Iran

Israel seized a cargo ship on March 14th in the Mediterranean sea, a few hundreds miles from the shores of the Gaza Strip. The ship was carrying Iranian weapons intended for Palestinian militants in Gaza. The ship set off from Syria, stopped in Turkey before heading toward Egypt. As a reminder, weapons are smuggled from Egypt to the Gaza Strip using a network of underground tunnels. Iran has denied involvement, as it was  to be expected. The incident follows earlier attempts from hostile Arab or Muslim countries to provide weapons to destabilizing or terrorist agents in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank. The IHH-sponsored Gaza flotilla incident is a notorious example of that, which was a clear provocation from the part of Turkey.

What is really interesting though is the ownership of the vessel, German… Honestly, who could have guessed? The Third Reich is deploying more and more overt provocations toward Israel. The message is clear: be ready to be wiped out. The anti-Israel sentiment is growing around the world and especially in the Middle East and we can see the wolves and sharks getting closer as they smell the blood of Jews. Frankly, we are governed by psychopaths. If real good people were in charge of the Earth, we wouldn’t see things like that. As a result, the hatred of the Jews will continue as long as humans won’t decide themselves to put these psychopathic killers behind bars or six feet under. Welcome to the Itamar massacre or how violence in the Muslim world has become entertainment

Watch this video about the Itamar, an Israeli settling in the West Bank, massacre of last friday. Pictures are crude, terrible, ugly but they depict exactly the situation Jews and Israelis face around the world: unequivocal violence that receives a free pass. A group, we don’t know how many, of Palestinians enters a residence in Itamar. Then they proceed to massacre the resident couple and three of their six children, including a three-month old baby… The killing might have been claimed by Fatah members, it is not yet confirmed, belonging to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs sub-group. After the news of the killings, some Palestinians were seen celebrating in the Gaza Strip, serving baklavas to the population.  Stupid comments were made also by certain Palestinian authorities diminishing the importance of the event. Frankly, if you are not disgusted by all this, I don’t know what would make you react. And what is even more disgusting is the very small or even total absence of coverage of this news in the western media, considering the immense brouhaha any petty event involving violence or discomfort felt by Palestinians receives all year-long. Anti-semitism is making a very strong comeback, if it ever departed. Not only we can see it in terrible events like this but as well in the censorship this kind of news endure in the western media. The Third Reich and their Islamists proxy warriors controlling that media, it is no surprise if violence against Jews receives almost no coverage.

The Guardian’s David Cronin takes the armour of « Free Palestine »

Poor David Cronin… What is he trying to prove here? On February 22nd, while he was affected to cover a EU press conference in Brussel, he engaged in an attempt to make a « citizen’s arrest » of Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. The accusation is, again, that Israel practise apartheid against the Palestinians but one cannot fail to see the connection with the anti-Israel two week boycott event that is being held from March 7th to the 20th. In doing so, Cronin has clearly crossed the line between jounalism and activism. Not being an expert, I would say that it violates the basic rules of jounalism that are recognized and followed through worldwide. What is really interesting though is that Cronin apparently co-authored an article about this incident in which he was nonetheless the key player. The article appeared on the Google News RSS feed. Cronin made a « correction » in the comments section of the news, saying that he didn’t co-author it. But was it an attempt to cover-up after the fact or a « slip of the keyboard »? After Julian Assange’s comments on the Guardian’s editor and team, alleging they were Jewish, it is certainly flavorous to see that anti-Israel video. Check the report that HonestReporting made of it and the video of the « citizen’s arrest » attempt. Terrific moments in democracy…

Amir Khadir and the ready-to-wear anti-semitism

This is an article from Barbara Key of the National Post. She presents the case here of Amir Khadir of Québec Solidaire Party, Quebec MNA in the circonscription of Mercier. Last fall, Amir Khadir joined a group of anti-Israel protesters, the PAJU, the Palestinians And Jews United. That group advocates the boycott of all products manufactured in Israel as a denounciation of what they call the « apartheid » that, supposedly, Israel imposes on Palestinians. The PAJU has targeted a small store on St-Denis street in Montreal, Le Marcheur, for the  only reason that it sells shoes of the brand Beautifeel, made in Israel.

Here are a few facts about Israel’s day-to-day life:

  • 20% of the population is composed of non-Jews
  • The Arab minority in Israel has to right to vote and has representatives in the Parlement
  • Non-Jews can have sexual relations with Jews. They can use the same transportation system and the same hospitals. They can give or receive blood from Jews
  • Arab workers in Israel have the same rights and conditions than Jewish workers
  • Arabs have access to the same schools than the Jews
  • There is no discrimination in public places such as cinema venue or beaches
  • Arabic is one of the official languages in Israel

So how « apartheid » does that sound? What is really interesting about the article is that I am involved in this. I belong to the counter-protesters who join Mr Archambault and Ms Auger in their fight against fanaticism, fascism, nazism and anti-semitism. Every saturday we gather to make sure that these fascists from the PAJU won’t get the upper hand in that conflict and that the rights of Jews and French-Canadians or Québécois are respected and defended. Many people are beginning to ask themselves what Amir Khadir really does in the end. He admitted to have been in the past a member of the People’s Mujahiddin of Iran, a socialist Islamist group created to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran. Khadir’s brother, Omid, was arrested in Paris in 2003 at the organization’s base in a police operation. So it is not clear what his agenda is but, under the circumstances, we have to be very careful and ready to combat tooth and nail against anything he does. Social-democracy is the best political system that the world has ever invented. We have to do everything in our power to protect it.

What is striking here is how criticism of Israel is just another front for anti-semitism. Bashing Israel being more socially acceptable than just expressing direct and plain anti-semitic views, it can be sold more easily to the middle class, to he bourgeois who delect indulging in this kind of sentiments. Effectively, denouncing Israel sounds cool, right, seeming to come from a learned opinion because it doesn’t possess the stain of anti-semitism and nazism that is often fatal. It is ready-to-wear anti-semitism for the bourgeois.

Israel is entitled to « occupy » the « Occupied Territories »

Watch this video where is explained why Israel is « occupying » Palestine and other lands. UN resolution 242 was adopted after the Six-Day War in 1967, when Egypt, Jordan and Syria attacked Israel. The resolution says that Israel has to leave the  lands occupied in these states during the war, i.e. the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the Golan Heights, following a negociated peace with the Arab countries. Because these ones refused to make such a peace, Israel continued its ‘occupation’. The use of the Jordan River Valley as a natural barrier is logical. Ce vidéo possède des sous-titres français.
