«L’État et les banques, les dessous d’un hold-up historique» par Myret Zaki et Etienne Chouard
Cette événement présenté par la Fonderie Kugler de Genève en collaboration avec le journal La Cité met en vedette Myret Zaki, rédactrice en chef adjointe du magazine Bilan, ainsi qu’Étienne Chouard, professeur d’Économie-Gestion à Marseille et chercheur indépendant. Les deux conférences mettent en lumière le rôle joué par la spéculation financière, les produits dérivés, les agences de notation, le marché spéculatif de la dette, les fonds d’investissement et autres outils financiers, dans le crash de l’économie mondiale que nous vivons présentement et de ses impacts sur la vie des peuples du monde et de la démocratie. Parmi les thèmes importants également abordés lors de l’événement, nous retrouvons l’impossibilité pour les pays européens d’emprunter à leur banque centrale respective sans intérêt et l’obligation qui s’ensuit d’aller sur les marchés financiers, la création de l’Euro qui s’est avéré être une catastrophe, le fait que les élus dans les pays dits « démocratiques » sont en fait placés là par les plus riches maintenant ainsi la démocratie en bride, la politique monétaire de John Maynard Keynes qui a encouragé les états modernes à s’endetter pour payer les opérations courantes, le rôle joué par la Banque des Règlements Internationaux dans ces mêmes manipulations financières, et finalement l’importance de revenir au « tirage au sort », tel qu’adopté par les Grecs antiques, qui seul permettrait une vraie démocratie représentative. Cette conférence mérite d’être vue mais surtout bien écoutée et les différents points qu’elle aborde d’être étudiés, analysés et débattus.

Since he started his website, WhoWhatWhy.com, he is trying really hard to give back to the profession of journalism the kind of distinction, class and professionalism that it used to have, if it ever did. Great interview to reflect on the significance of these zillions of bytes on information that we consume everyday.
Chris Hedges attacked on the CBC: Again it is showing no class whatsoever
See how a CBC host, Kevin O’Leary, treated Chris Hedges almost like a hack of shit. If the CBC thought Hedges was such a « nutbar », why did they invite him on the show? With plenty of guests who can be invited, the matter is not a question of absence of choice. CBC is definitely one of the bastion of the Left in Canada, so I am more than puzzled about this statement. Hedges simply states the obvious, i.e. that the financial sector, with the banks, the hedge funds, etc, and with all the speculation that it creates, is responsible for the crisis. Everybody knows that…except certain people who would like the « market » to be always right and not to be accountable for anything.
Entrevue de Marine Le Pen à BFMTV: Elle met K.O. Jean Leonetti
Cette entrevue de Marine Le Pen à BFMTV est absolument fabuleuse. Elle permet de mettre en lumière un état de fait qui s’avère de plus en plus indéniable: Il n’y a qu’elle dans la course à la Présidentielle. Les autres candidats ne sont que des fantoches, des petits fonctionnaires de l’Union Européenne protégeant leur carrière au lieu de défendre la France, et tout ça pour une « Europe » qui ne fonctionnera jamais selon les paramètres actuels. L’Union Européenne et sa monnaie unique, calquée sur la carte de la Grande Allemagne nazie et fonctionnant politiquement sous le mode de l’Union soviétique, est en train de faire mourir un à un tous les peuples européens, en brisant leur économie, leur culture, leur patrimoine, pour ne profiter qu’à un nombre très réduit de non-élus siégeant à Brussels et leurs alliés des « marchés financiers ». Le point fort de cette entrevue-émission s’est produit lors du débat avec Jean Leonetti, ministre chargé des affaires européennes. Ce monsieur supposément très bien élevé s’est comporté comme un véritable rustre en état impoli, désagréable et de mauvaise foi. Il n’a pas cessé d’interrompre Marine Le Pen pour ne dire au fond que des âneries bien souvent ou des phrases vides ou hargneuses. Combien y a-t-il de petits fonctionnaires de ce genre dans l’appareil étatique de l’Union Européenne et dans chacun de ses états membres, je ne sais trop. Mais avec une pareille performance, ce n’est pas étonnant que l’Europe s’en aille chez le diable… En fin de compte, il est évident que la gauche française n’est plus dans le coup en ce qui concerne la défense des citoyens et de leurs intérêts, elle qui se vautre dans une logique de collaboration. À ce sujet, vous pouvez voir cette entrevue avec Éric Zemmour sur la collaboration des réseaux gauchistes en France dans les années qui ont précédé la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale. Décidément, et la France et l’Europe sont au bord du gouffre. Ceux qui ont encore le coeur de défendre leur patrie et ce merveilleux continent qu’est l’Europe doivent se lever et combattre courageusement ces totalitaires collabos qui l’ont transformée en numéro de cirque.
Andrew Gavin Marshall on The Boiling Frogs: NGOs, universities and social engineering
This interview with Andrew Gavin Marshall on The Boiling Frogs show presents many relevant issues. In a nutshell, Marshall tries to raise our awareness on how the education system and so-called non-profit organizations have come to play a central role in the shaping of people’s minds. We are way passed the point where our universities and NGOs would still be in the business of helping people and caring for their needs as future responsible citizens. We live in an information (read intelligence) era where control has become the objective of every policy maker. The second half of the show is particularly striking for this. Marshall helps us to realize that Foundations such as the Rockefeller, Carnegie and Ford provide founding only to NGOs that have pre-selected agendas and actions that fit with the ideology of these giant corporations. Social engineering is the new science by which oligarchs, industrialists and corporations now control the world. If you control people’s minds, you do actually control them. During the last decades, we have seen the realization of what was only contemplated or projected in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World: A world where every need and desire is foreseen in advance and duly manufactured and presented to the people as a « choice ». NGOs and universities make sure that citizens have a pre-fabricated mind perfectly suited to accept, integrate and consume these ideas, and in turn approved products and services. All for the benefit of giant corporations that came to replace the royal families and the Church as the ruling elite during the 19th and 20th century.
The movie Corporation by Mark Achbar: The links between IBM and the Holocaust
This is an extract from the Canadian movie The Corporation by Mark Achbar. Although the tone is at times a little bit whiny and definitely lefty, it remains somewhat a good documentary to seize the different challenges presented by the corporation in our world. The usual all-star protagonists of the Left scene, such as Michael Moore, Naomi Klein and Noam Chomsky « occupy », excuse the pun, a good space in the movie and certainly don’t miss the opportunity to deliver the rhetorical lines that their public expect. And again, nonetheless, the end result remains relevant. I have chosen a part that exposes the links between America and the Nazi regime of Germany. After all, it is my editorial line, I would be stupid to pass on that. Among other things, it presents the case of how the Coca-Cola corporation continued to make business with Germany during WWII even if we were at war. It exposes also the role played by IBM in the holocaust. For those who don’t know, let us recall that IBM fabricated and marketed among the first computers during late 19th and early 20th century. Functioning with punch cards, they helped the Nazis keep tabs, so to speak, on all the people who were displaced to the concentration camps and on what happened to them. Nazi Germany signed the contract with IBM’s New York office. Machines were leased, not sold. They needed to be serviced. The case of IBM and the holocaust is presented succinctly here but anyone who would like to know more about that can read the book IBM and the Holocaust by Edwin Black.
