Interview with Fara Mansoor, Part I. The hostage crisis in Iran: A coup d’état against both the Shah and Carter

This fascinating and incredibly massive several hour interview features Fara Mansoor, a member of the Iranian Resistance. It was recorded in January and March 1993 on Dave Emory’s radio show, For The Record, during three separate shows. At the time, Dave Emory had a 4-hour airtime format at his disposal. That’s why he could allow his guest to utilize so much space to talk, present and explain all the different connections, details, etc, about this case, and Fara Mansoor certainly didn’t miss such an opportunity. The wealth and scope of detail in Mansoor’s research is absolutely fantastic, impressive and beyond description. In these times of mass media tyranny, where everything is downsized to its simplest expression and where the Twitter format of 140 characters has relegated the classic tools of expression such as the book, the academic journal, the Ph. D. thesis, the university or scientific research to the antics of history, this interview tastes like an oasis of science, research and intelligence.

In these eight segments, representing the first two shows, that I have attached here for you and that you will find regrouped in the second link titled « The Terror Connection », Fara Mansoor explains something that is never presented anywhere else in the media. In a nutshell, these are the basic elements that you will discover:

The received story about the hostage crisis of 1979 and the Iranian Revolution is a lie. In order to understand what has taken place during these crucial months, one has to know certain facts of history. The first and most important, is that the Shah of Iran, Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi, has been brought to political power by a coup d’état fomented by the CIA against the moderate and Moscow-backed goverment of Mossadegh in 1953. The connections between U.S. intelligence agencies and governements and the regime of Iran are overt. What is the link between that and the Iranian Revolution, you will ask? This: Richard Helms, former CIA director (1966-1973) and then U.S. ambassador in Iran (1973-1976), learned around 1975 that the Shah had cancer. So the geo-political and geo-strategical motivations that were behind the destitution — because that’s exactly what we are talking about here — of Mohammad Mossadegh in 1953 were sent back in motion again. But this time, it would be the Shah who will have to be replaced by again another fierce anti-communist. Continuer la lecture

November 22nd, the anniversary of the assassination of JFK: An occasion to discover the works of Mae Brussel

One of the first individuals to have researched and studied the assassination of President JFK is Mae Brussel, an American women and radio host who dedicated her life to unmask the Underground Reich, literally a Third Reich gone underground at the end of WWII. In the tradition of pioneer American journalists such as Edward R. Murrow and Paul Manning, Mae Brussel opened a whole field of research that we could label as « fascism studies », or in other terms, the intellectual and scientific study of the political and ideological movement called fascism, which is far from being dead. On the contrary, it is on the rise due to the state of deep sleep in which the populations of the world are, especially in the « free » world. Fascism, functioning like a mafia in its underground phase, is slowly gangrening, corroding, corrupting, decomposing the societies of the world and especially « free » democracies. The works of Mae Brussel inspired other reseachers, radio hosts and writers, such as the excellent anti-fascist researcher Dave Emory, and more recently top-of-the-notch journalist and writer Russ Baker in a marvelous book titled Family of Secrets, an incredible research endeavour on the history of the Bush family and the links they entertain with the milieu surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy. Mae Brussel died of cancer in 1988. So please, take a few moments to get acquainted with this amazing women. I provide here the link to her website, maintained by Tim Canale, and another one to an article that she wrote originally for The Rebel publication that relates specifically to the assassination of President Kennedy and the Underground Reich.

The Nazi Connection to the John F. Kennedy Assassination

The controlled demolition of America on 9/11, part II: Richard Clarke’s allegations and the Underground Reich

Decidedly, the 9/11 case is the worst of all times. Not only there are countless dimensions and connections to be aware of and that need to be stressed but in the end, there are so many threads that one has difficulty keeping the focus on what really matters. In part I, I took a look at the direct links between the reactionary religious bigotry that is encouraged in Saudi Arabia and terrorism activity in general in the years just prior to 9/11. The Saudi connection seemed to have played a major role in the engineering, crafting and carrying of the 9/11 attacks. In another post a few days earlier, I took a look at the connections between international drug cartels and the hijackers. Let me recall that Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi infiltrated the Iran-Contra network involved in drug trafficking that was still in use at the time of 9/11.

This second part article will take a look rather on the flipside of part I. I will try to provide a picture of what could have gone wrong inside the U.S. to have 9/11 happened despite all the intelligence agencies, the FBI and all the capable people within the government. As a starting point, I will bring to your attention something that has made the news in the progressive sector last week but that was totally ignored, or close to that, in the mainstream press. Two young producers, Ray Nowosielski and John Duffy, made an interview with Richard Clarke, NSC Chief of Counterterrorism from 1992-2001, in October 2009. They recently launched a website to publish the interview and related articles and news. The site was temporarily taken offline due to CIA legal threats. To sum things up, Richard Clarke alleges that he was kept in the dark about the presence in the U.S. of two Al-Qaeda agents, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar, that would become some of the hijackers that flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon. His allegations concern directly three key individuals who were within the government apparatus at the time of 9/11, George Tenet, head of the CIA, Cofer Black, head of the Counterterrorism Center of the CIA, and Richard Blee, who was made Chief of bin Laden Unit in 1999 at Alec station, a listening post in the Middle East dedicated to Al-Qaeda. To watch the interview with Clarke, you can visit their website. Continuer la lecture

Ray McGovern’s performance during Clinton’s speech on freedom on the Internet: childishness or more smearing?

I hesitated a lot before covering this story, and then suddenly I decided to go ahead with it. I wasn’t sure exactly what to think, I had certain doubts and questions but now I see more clearly. In fact, what I actually thought on first impression has imposed itself as the valid explanation. I also have to mention that the story was covered as well by people I respect in the progressive sector and because they covered it in a way that I feel is not correct, I feel obligated to retort and set the record strait. I became aware of this story through the Boiling Frogs show and the Peter B. Collins show. As you may know, the websites for these two shows are listed on your right in the category Politics and Policy, and I also took the time to write a description of them in the section Resistance that you can read here. So I was more than perplex about the incident and the coverage they made of it.

First of all, let me set the scene to help you understand the context. Hillary Clinton is giving a speech about freedom of speech on the internet and let me precise as well that he video available on Youtube for this incident could be better. The framing, at the beginning of the scene, doesn’t allow us to see the whole room, with McGovern it it. We only see Clinton and we have to make do with it. This room, as the camera frames back, reveals itself to be of a relatively small dimension, and filled with people who are relax and seemingly willing to listen to a speech. And then we witness McGovern being seized by security guards, and after a few seconds we can hear him shout « So this is America? », and the video ends. I wish we could have a better document on which to base our analysis but all we can do is rely on this one. Continuer la lecture

Obama gives 2010 Medal of Freedom to George H.W. Bush…but hey, weren’t you supposed to be a progressive?

Honestly Obama, I am not following anymore. You presented yourself as a progressive, somebody who would uphold democratic values and principles. Acccording to your own speeches, you said that America had to cease the « kind of behavior that has affected us for so long »… And now you’re giving Poppy Bush the Medal of Freedom? I think there’s been some kind of a mistake. Haven’t you read Russ Baker’s Family of Secrets and John Loftus’ books? The Bush Family participated in laundering nazi money during WWII, they are apparently linked to a milieu (among other institutions the Office of Policy Coordination and the Department of Justice)  that helped to smuggle nazi war criminals to America, and they made a lot of other things that would be too long here to enumerate. Prescott Bush, the grand-father, and his son, George H.W. Bush, have played a key role in these machinations, while George W. Bush is a more benign figure. Frankly, I think you have mislead us. You are not a progressive. Everything was a deception. Thank you very much for the marvelous show and the terrific emotions that you made us feel. But next time, I think I will go see a movie instead of listening to you. The ‘decoration’ of this great American ‘hero’ happens around 26:30 in the video here. Enjoy.
