Obama’s policy on the Middle East: Three strikes out?

Here are two videos. The first shows Obama during the adress when he uttered the famous « 1967 lines » for the borders of Israel. The second is Obama’s presentation at AIPAC a few days later when he tried to say that he didn’t say what he said… I don’t know about you but I begin to turn sour about Obama. His Cairo speech was dubious but at that time, I wasn’t ready to think that he would put into jeopardy the future of the world. I thought he would favor an evolution of the situation in the Middle East, a resolution of the conflict. But still, it was kind of strike 1. Then happened the uprisings in North Africa. At this occasion, he could have taken the opportunity to warn the world and the American public about terrorist groups or Islamist/reactionary elements that could try to take advantage of these « revolutions » to further their own agenda. Did he do it? No, he endorsed the uprisings, he vouched for them regardless of whoever was involved, whatever their political platforms were, whatever their backgrounds were. Was it enough to throw the towel with Obama? No, that could still turn out good for the world, we would have to wait and see. But still, that was strike 2. And now, with that proposition on the 1967 lines, the terrible fiasco that it produced with Netanyahu during his last visit and the vote that is coming to the UN in september, I think that’s it. Three strikes out! I don’t see how this guy could be re-elected as President for another term. The world is more unstable now since he is in office, much more than when Bush was there… Can you imagine that? But, what is Obama’s agenda anyway? Are you sure that you know what it is? Because, speaking for myself, I don’t know. Is he an Islamist? Possibly. It’s beginning to be dubious and scary. He acts almost as if he would like the Islamists throughout the Middle East to get a firmer grip on their societies, at the detriment of pro-democratic elements and the West as a whole. After you watch these two, don’t forget to watch as well the marvelous presentation that Netanyahu gave to U.S. Congress a few days later. He took the opportunity then to retort as a real head of State can only do. Continuer la lecture

Pepe Escobar on the Boiling Frogs: more insights about the Middle East uprisings

In this interview with the Boiling Frogs, Asia Times reporter and Real News Network Pepe Escobar shares his observations on the uprisings in the Middle East, more specifically on countries such as Libya, Egypt, Bahrain and Tunisia. He puts into context the various roles played by western powers and interests such as France, Britain and NATO in the development in these popular revolts. In Libya in particular, Gaddafi was apparently beginning to make deals with the Chinese, and that might have created a certain uneasiness in high places in western countries. The different points he makes present a considerable amount of overlap with Dave Emory‘s assessment of the situation. This interview is certainly a good complement to what Emory has already found on the subject. In the second part of it, he then comments on the ever changing U.S. official version of the operation that killed bin Laden, taking the opportunity there to look more closely at specific details of a narrative that doesn’t seem to make sens on a military standpoint. In his opinion, and I agree with him, the operation was a PSYOPS to begin with. Read my earlier post to see how I presented it then, and this one also, when we learned that Bradley Manning might have blown the operation in advance. Why was it conducted? Because in the geo-political theater of the 21st century, Pakistan seems to be getting more and more cosy with China and Russia, and that could explain the raid on the compound. Check this post as well, where I presented the situation in that area of the world as a stage for the everlasting Anglo-Afghan War inspired by Brzezinski’s Grand Chessboard game. Escobar touches several other points that are worth taking into consideration.

However, I have a critical observation to make though. His position on Israel is flawed. But in the so-called progressive sector, he is definitely not alone in that situation. In fact, the vast majority of « progressives » fall into that category, as they blame Israel for all kinds of things that are not true or inaccurate. At the very end of the interview, as he and the Boiling Frogs’s hosts wrap up, he then comments on Obama’s proposal to Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu, for a possible resolution of the conflict. Obama’s proposal presents the creation of a Palestinian State within the 1967 borders, in other terms with the frontiers that were in usage before the Six-Day War. The pre-1967 borders are not defensible. You don’t need a Ph.D. in military operations to understand that. Any state, to be able to defend its borders needs some kind of natural obstacles such as mountains, forests, sea, lake, river, ravine, etc. Because otherwise, it is just impossible to defend them on open territory. Such borders are possible in the case of countries that are really close in terms of policy, regime, agenda, etc, like Canada and the U.S., and even with those two, there are problems. So you can imagine that between countries that are enemies to one another, that don’t share the same culture, religion, ideology, interests, etc, it can’t be acceptable. Furthermore, a lot of groups, governments, activists and religious extremists are dedicated to the destruction of Israel, and they would just jump on the occasion to finalize what they have begun for so many years. With the pre-1967 borders, it opens the doors for the mass extermination of the Israelis and the disappearance of Israel as a country. But Escopar is just another « progressive » who thinks that it is a good idea to implement those frontiers, while Netanyahu is not stupid and will never accept that.

Here is this interview with the Boiling Frogs. Following, there is an excellent post by Sibel Edmonds exploring several leads in trying to explain the timing of the bin Laden operation. Again, the idea is presented that the U.S.-Pakistani relationship has been disintegrating for several years and that, on the opposite, a much better one is being developped between Pakistan and China.

TMX takeover by LSE: a group of Canadian banks and Pension Funds fight back

Finally, some groups from our country, like in the case of the Equinox Minerals bid by China Minmetals, made an offer to buy the TMX to keep the control of that stock exchange in Canada. Because, let’s speak frankly here, that supposed « merger of equals » is nothing less than a takeover of the TMX by the LSE. Question: why, according to you, the LSE wants so bad to buy the TMX? Financial analysts and « experts » could mention dozens of reasons but the most obvious that comes to mind is because the TMX controls the world’s resources. In previous articles on the so-called « revolutions » in the Middle East I, along with heroic anti-fascist researcher Dave Emory, warned readers and listeners not to get too optimistic about the « democratic » nature of these uprisings. These operations were conducted for strategical and geo-political reasons. The Earth’s resources are beginning to spread a little thinner in recent years due to the rise of the globe’s population and demand for products. Control of resources is the key of power for the world of tomorrow. Control the resources and you control the game, don’t control the resources and you’ll be left alone. It is as simple as that. In my posts, I often reminded you that our civilization is superior and that we have to take some measures to make sure that no one could take away all the great inventions and the quality of life that we have accomplished.

A geo-political concept that is often forgotten but nevertheless really essential for a real comprehension of the world is the concept of the « Earth Island ». It describes a stretch of land that begins at the Strait of Gibraltar and spreads until the confines of China. That piece of Earth contains the most of the world’s resources, the most population, the most lands, the most oil, etc. So at least a partial control of that area is essential for any global power or civilization. It is no surprise if the LSE wants to acquire control over the TMX. In effect, then they could be in a better position to manipulate the market in favor of their own interests. It is obvious that when the LSE made this bid for the TMX, their board of directors thought about their own wealth and the one of all the people they are networking with, and not the wealth of Canadians and of the world. That’s why I recommend that you, the TMX, close the deal with the Canadian groups. That’s the logical thing to do. If we keep the control of that institution here, then we are sure to keep some kind of control over our economy. Canada is a big country but with a tiny population, with a political sovereignty that depends totally on the good will of the Americans, with a rather tiny number of institutions, so that would be foolish to relinquish a tool such as the TMX, while our country is already not a big player on the world’s scene. As a Quebecker, having already lost the Montreal Stock Exchange, I would perceive this as an insult. If we accepted the deal with the Toronto Stock Exchange and the loss of control that resulted, that was not to see it go overseas afterwards. Here is a Globe and Mail article that presents the bid of the Canadian group, and a series of earlier posts about the uprisings in the Middle East.

Nadia Ali and the real nature of Arab culture, part II: please rise and…

The other day, I presented to you the beautiful and sexy Sila Sahin, a German young woman of Turkish origin. In this video shot by Playboy, you can see how she « resists » to Islamism and Islam in general. How? By showing her body, her hair, her ass, her breasts, which are all very beautiful. Today, again, I strike back with beautiful Libyan Nadia Ali, born of Pakistani parents. You see, that’s how you counteract Islam, not by doing compromises, deals, negociations, accommodations, etc, but by sabotaging it from the inside, and the key is sexuality. Sexuality destroys fascism like water destroys everything in its path when a tsunami occurs. That’s what we need to get rid of fascism, a tsunami of sexuality and pleasure brought by millions of sexy women from all origins but especially from the Middle East. Being the most beautiful women on Earth, they have the power to transform it completely. Come on, show us your breasts, your ass, your hair! Help us fight back against totalitarian ideologies and religious bigotry! Be the image of God!

Addendum on the piggy-back coups in the Middle East: the Turking Taffy series

To wrap things up on the piggy-back coups in the Middle East, I present to you the Turkish Taffy series by Dave Emory. I explored with you these complicated and highly evolved operations in these earlier posts: Karl RoveLibyaThe Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda. Make sure to go back and read the information available to refresh your mind before continuing your study. This is not an easy case. Fascism is on the rise on Earth and we must learn the new tricks that the transnationals have found to deceive us. Don’t be fooled: they are always several steps ahead, or so they believe or so they want.

China’s aggressive bids in the mining industry: its counter-attack against the West?

State-owned China Minmetals Corp has made a $6.3-billion offer in cash to acquire canadian copper producer Equinox Minerals Ltd. Equinox operates, notably, mines in Zambia and in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Equinox has made an offer to acquire Lundin Mining Corp, which was rejected. This bid now by Minmetals sinks Equinox’s offer for Lundin anyway. The bid also shows a change of attitude on the part of China in relation with takeover tactics. They seem to want to adopt the western attitude. Apparently, if the bid is successful, Minmetals will still want to get their hands on Lundin, which would make them an important player in the copper industry.

Question: Is this China’s response to the « uprisings » (see my earlier posts: this, this and this) in the Middle East, through which the western world seems to be reaffirming its control over the resources, oil and others? In other terms, instead of counter-attacking militarily to the West’s aggressive takeover moves for resources in the Middle East, China has chosen to, for the moment, use economic and financial tools to achieve that same goal? With a population of 1.5 billion, their need and hunger for raw materials and energy is insatiable and will just keep growing. How long will they be able to restraint their efforts like this to get the resources they need without deploying more agressive solutions, such as military means? I don’t know. But we are certainly witnessing on their part a change of strategy. Their economy is roaring and with all these mouths to feed and these industries to furnish materials and energy to, it is just a question of time before things get a little more physical. The second article shows that, although copper doesn’t seeem like a good investment at this time, the Chinese want to have a bigger chunk of the cake.

The 50-Point Manifesto of Hasan al-Banna: where catholic bigotry meets Soviet Russia and Mussolini’s Corporate State

Here is the link to a page on Pointdebascule website where the 50-Point Manifesto of Hasan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, is presented. Jesus-Christ that it must be boring to live in such a society! No gambling, no nightclubs, no alcohol, no drugs, no prostitution…but can we still eat, just to be sure? Everybody has to wear the same uniform, there is only one political party, women and men are being separated in schools and in other activities… With the Muslim Brotherhood, we are witnessing the birth and expansion of probably the worst ideology that the world has ever conceived. In effect, it combines the worst elements of ideologies of the past. The islamic bigotry that is apparent here is  only too reminiscent of catholic bigotry that was rampant before WWII. In Quebec for example, we had our shares of that crap, believe me. These elements of islamic bigotry merge, in Hasan al-Banna’s doctrine, with means of social control typical of soviet Russia for finally transfiguring themselves in a corporate state philosophy that would have given Mussolini his best orgasms. Frankly, the way things are going, we are pretty much screwed. If western leaders really think they are doing us and themselves a big favor in toppling Middle East dictators in the wake of the so-called « democratic » revolutions, they must stand corrected. Western leaders and éminences grises are in fact paving the way for a major regression into Antiquity. Today’s Middle East leaders were acting, until recently, as safety valves against all kinds of barbaric social tendencies and groups, which were encouraged by Islamism and terrorism. Now that they are being overthrown, nothing stands in the way anymore of Islamists, terrorists or groups of barbarians to impose their views on pro-democratic populations. To read how I assess the situation in Libya, see my earlier post.

I am suggesting as well Dave Emory’s last show, FTR #736, which continues the analysis on the coup d’état that was perpetrated in Egypt. Bring your attention more specifically, among other elements, on section 2c where an exerpt of  John Roy Carlson’s Cairo to Damascus is presented that shows what are the real « values »  of the Brotherhood. As well, here is Dave Emory‘s latest blog entry analyzing the results of a recent election exercice in Egypt and how in such occasion the Muslim Brotherhood has prevailed against pro-democratic forces of the youth. With all these elements of information, I don’t see how one still could think that the Brotherhood is benevolent.

The Libyan operation: another piggy back coup?

In Dave Emory’s FTR #735, we have seen that the « uprisings » in the Middle East are probably to a large extent the results of a vaste operation conducted by the intelligence agencies of the West in order to change the leadership in that area of the Earth. Although there is nobody more convinced than me that these regimes need to be changed for democratic ones, I have been, as Dave Emory and other observers of the geo-political scene, more than skeptical about the « democratic » nature of the so-called revolutions. And with reason. When you have been deceived more than once, as it is the case with several events that happened since WWII, you develop a certain apprehension, prudence and carefulness when dealing with sudden changes.

Now, is the Libyan operation a piggy back coup on the Egyptian one, which was in itself a piggy back coup on the Tunisian operation? It is possible. In an earlier post, I have already said that Khadafi should remain in power for the moment, at least temporarily, to fight  back against Islamists forces, because the risks of such a takeover is too great in case of an overthrow. First, let me ask you this: where do the rebels get their weapons to fight Khadafi forces? Well…I guess that is one information that we don’t have but it is definitely important. In effect, in order to have weapons the rebels must buy or obtain them from a source that is ready to provide such weapons to that group, knowing very well that they will serve to try to overthrow Khadafi. So who is selling these weapons to the rebels? I don’t know. It is the job of the journalists to find out anyway but nobody does a particularly good job at this for the moment.

Second, haven’t you noticed that Libya shares a border with Sudan? The last time I checked, the north part of the country was controlled by Islamists and terrorists, while the south part has recently voted in favour of its secession from the north, its citizens being tired of the incessant harassment, killings, tortures, rapes, etc, brought so « generously » by the Islamic Jihad of the northmen. Maybe the weapons with which the « rebels » of Libya are fighting against Khadafi are coming in fact from the Islamists of North Sudan. That would be logical. And from whom these North Sudan Islamic Jihad warriors get their weapons? Again, and I don’t want to be patronizing, but it is the journalists’s job to bring these facts to the light of day. The operation launched by the Coalition Forces against Khadafi, although maybe sincere, might prove fatal in the long run for western civilization. Khadafi is definitely the strongest man in the area and if he falls, I don’t see who could be able to stand against the Islamists and their western sponsors.

According to Dave Emory, this vaste operation launched in the Middle East has got the approval of both branches of the CIA/State Department, the Democrat branch and the Republican branch (for that matter, see the  interview with John Loftus FTR #731). It is probably the truth. However, I fail to see how the Democrat branch would be able to recuperate those messy countries and bring them to democratic parlementary or presidential governments after such violent and improvised overthrows. Democratic life is not like flipping a switch. It doesn’t take on immediately. It takes time, during which any totalitarian mafia can organise itself and seize power. It will be interesting to see what measures the Democrat branch of the CIA/State Department will put in places to make sure that these countries really get on the path of democracy. But it will certainly have to counteract first the machinations of the Republican branch, and that is not small stuff.

Also, and Emory alluded to it in its last show FTR #736, one possibility that is certainly foreseeable, is that a plan is under implementation to create a wall between the western world and an Eastern Block of nations that may form in the near future or already in formation, that may comprise China, Russia, India, Pakistan and satellite nations such as Vietnam, North Korea, maybe Japan, etc. Is the West trying to secure oil reserves in anticipation for a takeover of these by entities created by or under control of a number of states of such an Eastern Block? It is certainly possible. If one takes China alone, just by the growing demand in energy of its population of 1.5 billion people, that’s enough to make anyone envision the worst scenarios. And I am even not mentioning here the fact that China is still a communist regime and that we don’t know for sure to what extent Russia has really succeeded in extinguishing the soviet flame or its imperialistic ambitions. That certainly doesn’t help the situation either.

I will cease here the speculation. Just keep your eyes open and question everything you are told. I think that is the best attitude. I have attached two news. The first concerns the  latest « facts » about the Libyan « uprising » and the next covers sudden investments made by the Saudis in the Middle East. According to you, are the Saudis trying to calm down the population by injecting money into the economy or are they securing their earlier investments because they know very well that they will become even more profitable in the near future? I will let you decide.

Crocodile tears on display at U.S. Congress: an extraordinary performance

Check this video featuring Minnesota Representative Keith Ellison’s Testimony during House Committee on Homeland Security Hearing on Radicalization. What a performance! This guy deserves an Oscar! Well, Matt Damon, Tom Cruise and the like, you’d better watch your backs because this guy is coming to steal your jobs! Wow! Isn’t he just terrific? Frankly, I am moved. It is so touching… I have no idea if what he says about Hamdani is true or not but it sounds bogus to me. It smells just like another attempt to portray Muslims as innocent little creatures who only want to be hugged and loved and who feel compassion and tenderness for their neighbours. Well, if you think that, maybe you should check the news. For example in the Middle East, where everyday hundreds  of Christians are massacred by « innocent » Muslims because they are characterized as « dhimmis », i.e. non-believers in the Koran. Thank you Representative Keith Ellison but we will pass. Next time we see you cry, we will think about the hundreds of thousands of Christians who have been massacred in places such as Sudan. That will put things into perspective. Don’t call us, we’ll call you.

‘Happiness’ replaces ‘Harmony’ as China’s buzzword

© Mahesh14 | Dreamstime.com

Welcome to Brave New World, Communist China’s version. After several years of ‘Harmony’ being forced upon the population of China, the era of ‘Happiness’ begins in the background of the many uprisings that are happening since a couple of weeks in the Middle East and that have reached China as well, where 100 people gathered in protest against the regime have been arrested so far. The communist regime is certainly interested to change the atmosphere of recent weeks and refocus on more « positive » thinking. Officials in China have now the mandate, and they will be judged on that ability apparently, to make people feel happy. Welcome to the perfect world of communism where the State thinks for you and for your every need.
