Thanks to Russ Baker from WhoWhatWhy.com to have rediscovered and shared with us this incredible performance by comedian Bill Hicks. Through humor, Hicks reminds us that the official version of JFK’s assassination is ridiculous. By the way, Russ Baker has researched this topic for five years. These efforts produced a remarkable book titled Family of Secrets. Check it out.

Faith Under Fire: Juliana Taimoorazy talks about the persecution of Assyrian Christians
The terrific presentation of a living witness about the persecution and massacre of Assyrian or Chaldean Christians in Iraq by, guess who, Iraqi Muslims.
Martin Lee presents The Beast Reawakens on For the Record
This nice interview with Martin Lee by anti-fascist researcher and radio personality Dave Emory is a great follow up to A Fireside Chat. In that program, Dave Emory takes the time to explain the concept of the Underground Reich and its implications for today and for our lives. In this chat, FTR #81, Martin Lee takes the opportunity to present his masterpiece work The Beast Reawakens. That book remains a milestone in the understanding of current events in terms of a return of fascism since the end of WWII but especially since the reunification of Germany. More precisely, it tries to underline the signs that are visible out there that the « beast » is effectively in a process of reawakening. We can see it in many different things and Martin Lee brings us to realize the scope of its implications. Among the many subjects Lee passes on, we find the rise of anti-semitism in the German Army, the use of psychological warfare on populations, the National Alliance, the role played by the Wehrmacht, the operations « Stay Behind », the pro-fascist junta in Greece, the militia, Elohim City, the Oklahoma City Bombing, etc.
At one point, Dave Emory brings the concept of « perceived discontinuity » in trying to explain the incapacity of a lot of people to understand things that are taking place and to read them correctly. In effect, if things look discontinuous, one might be tempted to conclude that there are no relationship between what is happening today and what happened in the past, several decades ago. That’s a very good point and I would add that it is probably an engineered one, for the very reason that it is necessary for the gradual and insidious implementation of fascism.
Uncle Sam and Nazism: The role played by Henry Ford and other industrialists in the rise of the Third Reich
Dave Emory’s For The Record show #511 revisits the broadcast of May 23rd 1980 in which connections between American industrialists and financiers and their German counterparts during WWII were explored. Among many others, the role played by Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford is discussed at considerable length. First, Henry Ford published a very important book that would prove to be instrumental in the rise of both fascism and anti-semitism in Europe, titled The International Jew. Hitler praised Henry Ford for the book, which became the basis of his ideological views on the economy, the nation and on the Jews. It is said that Hitler literally copied several portions of The International Jew and incorporated them into his own book, Mein Kampf, besides being influenced as well by another very important publication of this era, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a fake manifesto describing a worldwide plot by the Jews to take over the world, was written by the Tsarist police to discredit the Bolshevik revolution. Ford financed Hitler considerably and his stature as an industrialist greatly contributed to give Hitler and the Nazis credibility. Hitler eventually awarded him with the Grand Cross of the German Eagle on July 1938. Also, Ford’s son was named on the board of directors of American I.G., the American counterpart of I.G. Farben of Germany, a company that would play a key role for the Reich before and during WWII. Among other things, they are the ones who manufactured the Zyklon-B gas that was used to kill the Jews in concentration camps.
Emory explores the role played by I.G. Farben, German General Electric, United Steel, ITT, the Rockefeller family, the Bush family, Brown Brothers Harriman, Sullivan and Cromwell, and other interests who were ready to work in favor of Germany. A lot of « arrangements » made during WWII between American and German companies and/or subsidiaries. After all, business had to continue despite of the war. For example, the reinsurance sector led to a lot of leakage in intelligence as American insurance companies were reinsuring assets, such as boats about to depart for Europe, in Munich. As the Germans knew in advance what ship would leave on a particular date with a specific cargo, all they had to do was to send submarines along the shores of America and wait for the targetted boats and sink them. Another element that was instrumental in the success of the Third Reich, at least at the beginning of the war, was the technology transfer and licensing being done under the Rockefeller company Standard Oil of New Jersey and General Motors to I.G. Farben, for the fabrication of synthetic oil: the hydrogenation process, iso-octane and tetra-ethyl lead technologies and butyl rubber. It allowed Hitler and the Nazis to go forward with their war plans and proceed with the invasion of Poland and other countries. If that transfer of technology had not happened, WWII would not have occured in the first place.
The Armenian genocide: A rehearsal for the holocaust of the Jews?
This documentary details and explains the Armenian genocide. The massacre of the Armenians began at the end of the 19th century. Between 1894 and 1896, roughly 200,000 Armenians were killed in battles between Armenian nationalists and armies of the Ottoman Empire. However, the Young Turks Party took power in Turkey in 1908 after the Sultan was removed and the conditions of the Armenians improved for a while. Then in 1912-13, Christian regions of the empire, namely in the Balkans, such as Greece, Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria, challenged militarily the Ottoman Empire to get their independance. And they succeeded. Thousands of Muslim Turk refugees gathered at Istanbul as a result, thus creating tensions between Christians and Muslims. In 1913, a radical wing of the Young Turks Party, the Commitee of Union and Progress, formed as a coalition featuring three prominent leaders: TanЯT, who would become Minister of the Interior, EHBep who would become Minister of Defence and AҖaman, who would become Minister of the Navy. They embraced an ideology of Turkish nationalism. EHBep wanted especially to join Germany with its war against the Russians and then seize the occasion to conquer the Caucasus and Central Asia to be able to unite all the Turks in a Grand Turkey.
Some Armenians chose to fight on the side of Russia. In 1914, the Turks attacked the Russians and suffered a terrible defeat. Then the Turks disarmed the Armenian soldiers, in a move to neutralize them as possible collaborators with the Russians. Many were killed. On April 24th 1915, the Turkish government deported some 250 Armenian intellectuals to Constantinople where they were tortured or killed. Later, through « emergency executive legislations », the Turkish government undertook massive deportations of Armenians. Some one million people died as a result, either from hunger, sickness, extreme fatigue, dehydration, etc. Furthermore, the « Special Organization », a smaller group inside the CUP, were dedicated to the extermination of the Armenians. They formed mobile killing units. They recruited among criminals, the lumpenproletariat, Caucasian tribes, convicts and released prisoners, to stop Armenian convoys and murder their travellers.
A lot of people in the U.S. were aware that this massacre was happening and were publicly taking stands on the issue, such as Ezra Pound, Theodor Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, etc. The New York Times published tens of articles contemporary to the massacre. After the war, the Turkish military tribunal conducted a trial on the case and concluded that the Young Turks Party was responsible for the conception, organization and execution of the Armenian genocide. In absentia, TanЯT, EHBep and AҖaman were convicted and sentenced to death. Although they fled at the end of the war and went into hiding in neighbour countries, all three were killed within a few years, one after the other. To this day, the Turkish government still refuse to ackknowledge that such genocide took place. There is even a movement among the Turkish population and officials to openly denigrate its advocates. This amounts, in some respect, to holocaust denial. But, after all, for a nation that has been working hand in hand with Germany in both WWI and WWII, is it really surprising? Interview with Fara Mansoor, Part I. The hostage crisis in Iran: A coup d’état against both the Shah and Carter
This fascinating and incredibly massive several hour interview features Fara Mansoor, a member of the Iranian Resistance. It was recorded in January and March 1993 on Dave Emory’s radio show, For The Record, during three separate shows. At the time, Dave Emory had a 4-hour airtime format at his disposal. That’s why he could allow his guest to utilize so much space to talk, present and explain all the different connections, details, etc, about this case, and Fara Mansoor certainly didn’t miss such an opportunity. The wealth and scope of detail in Mansoor’s research is absolutely fantastic, impressive and beyond description. In these times of mass media tyranny, where everything is downsized to its simplest expression and where the Twitter format of 140 characters has relegated the classic tools of expression such as the book, the academic journal, the Ph. D. thesis, the university or scientific research to the antics of history, this interview tastes like an oasis of science, research and intelligence.
In these eight segments, representing the first two shows, that I have attached here for you and that you will find regrouped in the second link titled « The Terror Connection », Fara Mansoor explains something that is never presented anywhere else in the media. In a nutshell, these are the basic elements that you will discover:
The received story about the hostage crisis of 1979 and the Iranian Revolution is a lie. In order to understand what has taken place during these crucial months, one has to know certain facts of history. The first and most important, is that the Shah of Iran, Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi, has been brought to political power by a coup d’état fomented by the CIA against the moderate and Moscow-backed goverment of Mossadegh in 1953. The connections between U.S. intelligence agencies and governements and the regime of Iran are overt. What is the link between that and the Iranian Revolution, you will ask? This: Richard Helms, former CIA director (1966-1973) and then U.S. ambassador in Iran (1973-1976), learned around 1975 that the Shah had cancer. So the geo-political and geo-strategical motivations that were behind the destitution — because that’s exactly what we are talking about here — of Mohammad Mossadegh in 1953 were sent back in motion again. But this time, it would be the Shah who will have to be replaced by again another fierce anti-communist. Continuer la lecture
The last day of the Soviet Union or the hunting party coup d’état
Relive the last day of the Soviet Union, on December 8th 1991. On that famous day, Stanislav Shushkevich, Head of the Supreme Council of Belarus, Leonid Kravchuk, President of Ukraine and Boris Eltsine, President of Soviet Russia, held a secret meeting at the Viskuli Residence in Belavezha Forest, Belarus. There, they decided the fate of the Soviet Union, in only 24 hours. Mikhail Gorbatchev, who was in Moscow, was unable to prevent it, due apparently to his liberal character or weak position. The three men created a Commonwealth of Independent States to replace the previous structure. The documentary presents the tense hours in which that meeting was conducted and also the most important facts that paved the way for the dissolution of the U.S.S.R. in the months prior.
What a better way to « celebrate » November 9th than reading Martin Bormann Nazi in Exile?
On this blessed day for all Nazis, I just thought it would be fair to remind folks about some real history. The Reich didn’t stop their activities on May 1st 1945. It continued underground into the form of a capital network capable of influencing decisions, manufacturing key events, thus directing and changing history. The main character responsible for this was Adolf Hitler’s right-hand man and financier, Martin Bormann. Paul Manning, a wartime reporter for CBS who was trained as a gunner, have written an exceptional book titled Martin Bormann Nazi in Exile. I strongly suggest that you get acquainted with that remarkable research. The book is pivotal in any effort to understand the world of today. I have written a book review that you can access here. You will also find a link to download a PDF version of it and a URL to read it online.
