Frank Gaffney from the Center for Security Policy speaks here about the radicalization of U.S. Mosques. According to a study, 80% of U.S. Mosques advocate Jihad, in other terms violence. More than half of the Mosques have either invited Imams who promote violence or have on-site texts that do it. It is a major threat that needs to be adressed right now and I join my voice to the one of Frank Gaffney on that. Resistance is not futile. Resistance is life!

The Great Lakes – St. Lawrence Region Summit: A region of terrific opportunities…for all kinds of folks
On June 13th 2011, the National Post published the first in a five-part series on the future of the Great Lakes region in advance of a North American summit on the subject. The Mowat Centre and Brookings Institution will hold the « Great Lakes – St. Lawrence Region Summit » on June 21st-22nd in Windsor and in Detroit. Many speakers will be heard from all over the areas concerned, i.e. two provinces, Quebec and Ontario, and 8 American states. The point of holding this conference is that there is a growing awareness in the business and political communities that regions are becoming more and more important around the world because of geographical « clustering » of populations, capital, talent, education centers, private research centers, culture centers, etc, that go beyond official borders. Since a couple of years, new industries have come to replace traditional heavy industry in the region of the Great Lakes, which is a sign that it can only grow up again after a certain period of decrease in the last decades. Canadians and Americans share the area of the Great Lakes and St-Lawrence as a land mass to live on, to prosper, to do business, and basically to be happy and enjoy freedom and democracy. The authors of the article, Matthew Mendelsohn and John Austin, recall that in 2050, 1/3 of the world’s population will live with a short supply of water, which makes the Great Lakes and St-Lawrence region a little treasure to be cherished for the future of our children, and even for us. Skipping down in the article, they mention that apparently, we have « an inability to imagine our shared future » on both sides of the border. It is probably true.
I knew it was coming. In George Orwell’s 1984, whole continents are considered regions and the world is united in a totalitarian fascist-socialist regime. After the marriage of a bunch of european countries to form the European Union, now we can already see certain movements beginning the same process in North America. The summit that will be held this week is a good idea but I think it is the symptom of something else. A political event drew my attention recently. In three U.S. states that are concerned with the Great Lakes issue, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin, moves have been made to attack the middle class and the unions, among other things. For example, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has made some questionable manoeuvres in the last weeks concerning the future of his state. The next paragraph is an extract of an earlier post, on the seastedding movement:
Update on Green Fascism in the National Post: The tar sands agenda and other subjects
© Oystein Sando | Dreamstime.com
Last week, the National Post published a series of articles related to what I call Green Fascism. Under the file name « Junk Science Week », these articles try to expose anti-capitalist propaganda that proliferates under the cover of the defense of the environment. If sometimes bogus science can be used to deny good and sound research or facts, on the other hand, it can be used as well to push forward phony « research » and « discoveries » with a clear agenda. The Third Reich is more alive than ever. The Green movement being one of his spearheads, it pushes forward a propaganda rhetoric aimed at the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Israel, in other terms at the Anglo-American Empire that is supposed to be the enemy. For what purpose? To de-industrialize them. For whose benefit? Germany’s, of course. First, Germany is the world leader in anything that sounds « clean », like solar energy, wind energy, recycling, greenhouses, reutilization, etc, that sort of things. Any de-industrialization of the West would benefit the German corporations that patented and marketed all those inventions or new processes. Second, the European Union was a trap set by totalitarian dreamers and schemers to submit, conquer and bankrupt country members, for the economic and financial power center of the EU, Germany, to be able to take them over. By bailing them out, Germany takes over the economy, i.e. the wallet of those countries, and that’s the end of their national sovereignty. Look at the map. The territory of the EU is more or less the historical realization of nazi Greater Germany, or the revival or the Roman Empire. Leaders of the EU are non-elected officials and they decide for the fate of the hundreds of millions of Europeans. Often, citizens of its various country members can’t even have a referendum in which they can approve or disapprove a policy. It is imposed on them as a fait accompli. The EU is not a democracy, it is a totalitarian empire disguised as a democracy. If you are curious about what a U.K. politician like Nigel Farage might have to say about the EU, click here.
Xavier Rolet on a sales pitch spree in Montreal…Don’t waste your energy, we don’t « buy » it
The excellent National Post published on Thursday June the 16th a follow up to the still ongoing imbroglio surrounding LSE’s bid for TMX, versus the local bid presented by the Maple Group created out of several canadian banks and pension funds. Xavier Rolet, CEO of the LSE, and Thomas Kloet, chief executive of TMX Group Inc, paid a visit to corporate Quebec on last Wednesday in a Marriott Hotel ballroom. They went there basically to try wining over the opinion of Quebec’s financial elite who had nevertheless already presented a counter-offer through the Maple Group for the acquisition of TMX. As Premier Jean Charest does endorse Maple Group’s bid and that the Group includes many financial institutions based in Quebec, the task ahead was difficult.
First, we must all admit that Xavier Rolet does what he has to do: he gives his sales pitch like a professional. He presents arguments, elements of interest, etc, to try to win over a favorable opinion. As an example, he even said that Maple’s bid was based on « worry and fear ». Now, that’s a big statement but it misses the point. Those who back LSE’s bid think there is no problem with it, since Canada is an open market economy. O.K. But again, that’s not the point. TMX-LSE merger has been presented, from the start, as a « merger of equals » . I am not inventing it, these are their own words. But when you end up with only 45% of the shares, compared to 55% for the opposing merging company, that’s not a « merger of equals », it is an acquisition, a take-over in disguise. I am not an economist. I don’t even have an undergraduate degree in mathematics. But I know my numbers. 45 doesn’t equal 55. Period. Whatever way you want to put it, these two numbers will never equal. Are you taking us for fools? Continuer la lecture
Christie Blatchford is back at her Post: Her first task, nailing down anti-prostitution bigots
© Fabrizio Zanier | Dreamstime.com
It is good news for the National Post to have been able to recruit back somebody « behind enemy lines » (for those who don’t know, The Globe and Mail…) Personally, I think she made the right decision, you already know my call on that. She began last tuesday her new but somewhat previous and authentic job on a difficult task: trying to convince the Canadian public that prostitution is not a crime against humanity. Knowing that readers of the National Post may be a little more conservative or conventional possibly than the average one, it was not a small thing. Her article titled « Frank talk from the front lines » about prostitution, of tuesday June 14th, was more in fact a talk from the front lines of journalism itself.
How often do you hear, on the topic of prostitution, the usual following bullshit: prostitutes are all hooked on drugs, they are all beaten by their pimps, they were sexually abused when they were young, they are forced to do it, they don’t have any diploma, they all have STDs, etc? You must hear that on a regular basis. In fact, this is the official rhetoric on prostitution of our phony liberal-trudeauist-relativist ideology that came to prevail in the last decades. With this illusion put forward by the same people who brought confusion in the country using multiculturalism (and that alienated Quebec at the same time) of course, victimization and whining are key elements. It is not conceivable, for these people, that prostitutes could have a normal life, not use drugs, be able to pay their bills, even raise children, etc. They absolutely want to victimize prostitutes, and that says a lot about their psyche… Some of the reader commentaries on her article, published on thursday June 16th, were good illustrations of the incapacity for a large chunk of the public to really understand what prostitution is…because they have never been there. They don’t know what they are talking about.
What is going on between a client and a prostitute is, to begin with, a human relationship. That, the activists of « human rights » and glass knights of « human dignity » and all the other parasites that pollute our democratic life don’t care about. Knowing that they can draw attention by victimizing various groups and whining in their name on whatever issue, they continue to instill this cheap propaganda ad nauseam. I have a proposition for them: why don’t you take the boots, the whip and the lubricant and do it for a while. Then you could talk. I am tired of these bigots who have an opinion on everything but clearly don’t have a clue. There is a saying in the french language: « Ils ont des idées sur tout mais surtout des idées » . Literally translated, it gives « they have opinions on everything but mostly opinions » . That’s what we are dealing with here, anti-prostitution bigots who have an opinion. Blatchford didn’t condemn without knowing. She met with a prostitute in flesh and blood, like a true journalist does, she talked with her, put aside the widely spread propaganda and made her own opinion. That’s honest reporting. I just thought it was important to point that out for you, my followers, and I take the opportunity to welcome her back where she belongs…on this side of the front lines.
The seastedding movement and Star Trek: « The Next Generation » of fascists sails offshore
© Dmitrijs Mihejevs | Dreamstime.com
This last show of Dave Emory’s For The Record looks at the seastedding movement, a new trend in fascist ideology that seeks to create independent « cities » offshore, i.e. outside any country’s jurisdiction, in gigantic seaships as big as aircraft carriers. Individuals such as Patri Friedman, grandson of fascist economist Milton Friedman, and Peter Thiel, co-founder of Pay-Pal, support this movement that intersects, among other elements of the corporate community, with the Koch Brothers, the Carlyle Group and Palantir firm. « Charter Cities » is another variation of this scheme in which control of particular cities will be turned over to corporations. Henry Ford, one of Adolf Hitler’s early backers and main source of inspiration, tried such an experiment with the city of « Forlandia » in Brazil, which failed.
Michigan Governor Rick Snyder seems to have been working behind the scenes to implement a local mixture of seastedding in his own state. Applying the basic principals of Shock Doctrine, he recently submitted a budget for the State of Michigan that is expected to cut financial aid to cities and towns. As a result, evidently, much of those cities will end up in difficult financial situation. By pure « coincidence », Snyder is also pushing a bill that would give him and his administration the power to declare certain towns and cities in a state of financial « emergency ». The bill specifies that the Governor will then be in a legal position to appoint a kind of « czar » figure to manage the « crisis » for a particular town and that that czar will have the power to do virtually anything, including to terminate collective bargain agreements or any other contracts and to dismiss elected officials. In the end, the management of these towns in « crisis » will be turned over to corporations that will have the power to even terminate them at will.
