Beaucoup de choses se passent actuellement au point où nous, les blogueurs, ne savons plus où donner de la tête tellement il y a de matériel à couvrir. Comme dans le cas des nouvelles concernant Israel, à l’occasion je vais vous présenter des articles relatifs à l’Union Européenne. Celle-ci risque d’éclater bientôt et c’est pourquoi il est impératif d’observer la situation de près.

In a recent article, I supported Warren Buffet. This week, in a letter adressed to the editor of the New York Times, he defended the principle that the rich and the wealthy must contribute significantly to the financing of the State, that it was not only to the poor and the middle class to do that. Curiously, two columnists in the National Post, Peter Foster and Jack Mintz, joined their voices to criticize and almost discredit Mr Buffet. Honestly, belonging myself to the class of low-wage workers and surviving from paycheck to paycheck, I found these « opinions » so heartless, irrelevant and out of touch with reality that I didn’t even bother to respond. Normally, as a blogger I would have, but I said to myself: « what the hell ». And then on Thursday, August 18th, the newspaper published some readers reactions that corroborated my firts impressions. So I am not going to say much more. I am just going to invite you to read them. They do justice to the issues involved. It appears finally that I am not the only one who has good feelings for Warren Buffet, and for sanity in general, when the time comes to administrate the State and the economy. I also join the articles in question from both Foster and Mintz.
Hier, je vous ai parlé de ce sujet suite à une entrevue que Kathleen Weil, Ministre de l’Immigration, a accordée à Paul Arcand du 98,5 FM. Alors que j’étais en train d’écrire l’article, c’est Benoit Dutrizac qui l’a interviewée à son tour. Je vous le redis, c’est une clip audio qui est pénible encore une fois. Comme le souligne si bien Dutrizac dans l’entrevue, Madame Weil a une voix douce, elle est gentille mais il y a des limites. Le Québec, c’est notre pays. Ce n’est pas aux immigrants à dicter comme cela doit marcher. Ce sont nos valeurs. Si les immigrants n’aiment pas comment cela fonctionne au Québec, ils n’ont qu’à déménager ou ils n’avaient qu’à ne pas venir ici pour commencer. Ce discours lancinant dans lequel on nous sermonne sur l’intégration commence royalement à me faire chier. La ministre dit qu’elle est « à l’écoute », alors que ce sont les immigrants qui doivent être à l’écoute de nous. Elle nous dit aussi qu’elle a lancé un vaste programme de consultation auprès de la population. Dans un article précédent, je vous ai parlé de notre manie de faire de la consultationite. On passe littéralement des mois à consulter un tel et un autre, et pendant ce temps, on ne décide rien. C’est drôle, dans les années ’70, les politiciens décidaient et étaient entreprenants, ils réalisaient des choses. Aujourd’hui, même construire un trottoir est devenu une montagne. On fera réaliser des dizaines d’études sur le type de béton à utiliser, sur l’épaisseur des séparateurs en bois, on commandera une étude d’impact environnemental, etc. Madame Weil mentionne aussi, et ce détail est vraiment révélateur, que le Ministère de l’Immigration essaie d’aller chercher « l’adhésion » des Québécois quant aux politiques du gouvernement à adopter. Le problème est justement là. Le rôle du gouvernement est de gouverner, pas de consulter et d’aller chercher l’assentiment des citoyens pour chaque petit détail, de la couleur de la margarine en passant par les motifs du papier de toilette ou l’épaisseur et le relief des formulaires gouvernementaux.
Si on revient à l’entrevue comme telle, Dutrizac fait valoir à la ministre que le taux de chômage des Africains et Maghrébins est de beaucoup supérieur à celui de l’ensemble de la communauté immigrante. 37% des immigrants au Québec proviennent de l’Afrique ou du Maghreb. Il cite La Presse en disant que l’on trouve un taux de chômage de 20% chez les Maghrébins, de 13% chez les immigrants en général et de 7% au dans l’ensemble du Québec. Dutrizac pose la question à savoir si les Maghrébins travaillent réellement fort ou non pour s’intégrer. Toujours dans La Presse, il nous apprend que certaines communautés sont plus susceptibles de se retrouver à l’aide sociale lors de leur première année au pays: 78% des Algériens, 60% des Marocains, 50% des Roumains…5% des Français et encore moins pour les Chinois. L’animateur souligne aussi en passant que les statistiques concernant le chômage des Maghrébins sont semblables dans tout l’Occident. À ces statistiques, Madame Weil n’a visiblement pas de réponse. Who could have guessed that, seriously? I always thought that social inequalities favor the growth of left-wing activists and pressure groups but, according to a new study by the University of Tennessee, it seems that it is the opposite. A decrease in income and wealth favor the development of conservative values. No kidding. Check this out.
Contrairement à ce qu’il avait annoncé voilà quelques mois, le Gouvernement du Québec ne limitera pas apparemment l’immigration en provenance du Maghreb et par le fait même l’immigration musulmane. L’annonce avait été présentée comme une volonté de rééquilibrer la représentativité des immigrants en fonction des grands bassins géographiques. Voilà quelques jours, j’avais capté au vol une nouvelle à la radio nous informant que la Ministre Kathleen Weil, responsable de l’immigration, allait rencontrer des membres de la communauté maghrébine. La volte-face de cette semaine semble clairement être une conséquence de cette rencontre. Ce que je vais dire ici sur ce sujet ne concerne pas la Ministre Weil en particulier. Elle n’est que la personne qui va devant le micro pour annoncer les politiques qui sont mises en place. Mon commentaire s’adresse plutôt à la classe politique en général. Je l’ai déjà dit et je le répète: nous sommes gouvernés par des lâches. Lorsque la volonté de rééquilibrer les bassins géographiques avait été annoncée au printemps dernier je crois, je me disais, probablement naïvement, qu’enfin nos dirigeants commençaient à comprendre les problèmes graves amenés par l’immigration musulmane et que des nouvelles mesures seront prises pour contrer ses effets négatifs. Eh bien, voyez-vous, encore une fois, c’était de belles paroles en l’air! Le courage, les « couilles », la force, la détermination, nos politiciens, ils ne connaissent pas ça.
Or, je crois comprendre ce qui s’est passé. Lorsque la Ministre Weil a rencontré les groupes représentant la région du Maghreb, ceux-ci ont dû sortir les kleenex et commencer à brailler comme des veaux pour ne pas que les quotas soient revus à la baisse. Évidemment, ont-ils promis en échange qu’ils arrêteraient de nous écoeurer avec l’Islam? Je ne crois pas. L’entrevue qui suit est pénible, comme beaucoup d’autres avec les politiciens, parce que Madame Weil ne répond pas aux questions devant un Paul Arcand visiblement agacé et presque en colère. Mais c’est toujours comme ça avec les islamistes. On plie. Il me semble que cela n’est pas compliqué. Si des communautés arabes menacent, entre deux séances de larmoiement, soit de déplacer leurs votes vers d’autres partis politiques, de faire du grabuge ou encore d’organiser des manifestations ou des émeutes si la société d’accueil réduit le nombre d’immigrants que l’on accepte en provenance de leurs pays d’origine, eh bien, on a qu’à leur tenir tête. C’est tout. Si jamais ils passent à l’action, on en profitera pour les déporter ou les mettre en prison. Vous voyez, c’est ça qu’on fait quand on a des couilles et que l’on se tient debout. Mais quand on en a pas, c’est un peu plus difficile… Ce n’est pas directement les musulmans qui risquent de faire périr notre civilisation mais plutôt la mollesse, la lâcheté, la démission et la trahison qui affectent tant de nos élus et de nos citoyens. Lorsque chier dans son froc est devenu le bel art par excellence, pourquoi se surprendre d’une telle nouvelle? Si dans vingt ans Kathleen Weil est encore dans le milieu de la politique, j’imagine qu’on la verra, comme Martine Aubry en France, mettre son voile islamique pour plaire aux immigrants.

That took place a few weeks before her marriage with Colin Jordan in 1963. This week, thanks to a reportage by the National Post, we learned that Coco Chanel was a Nazi spy during WWII, according to new book by Hal Vaughan, Sleeping With the Enemy: Coco Chanel’s Secret War. The links between fashion industry and fascism are all over the place. One has to be naive or blind not to see them.
I present you a couple of Pat Condell’s last videos. The first deals with riots in Britain. You can feel and see his frustration and anger about the bunch of assholes who desecrated with their behavior the beautiful country that used to be England until recently. I share his frustrations. While the words might be a little harsh, tough, they nevertheless express the reality of things and that’s why it is important to hear them. The second deals about Norway’s killer, Anders Behring Breivik, the third about the treason and cowardice of the Left and all their pricks (who would have guessed?), and the last about the poison that is Islam for any society. These four videos relate to one another in substance as they deal with the slow descent of our society into fascism, whether we like it or not. It is always a pleasure to hear Pat Condell. His input is informative and relevant, while being most of the times funny and relaxing as well. In this era of political correctness, that is refreshing.

Billionaire Warren Buffet wrote a letter to the editor of the New York Times recently. The letter was published in the August 15th edition. The reason why I am talking to you about that is that it is so rare to hear or read rich people in the U.S., and in the world, to actually say that it might be good to share both wealth and responsibilities with others, that it becomes an event by itself. As a centrist, I am becoming so weary of the useful fools on the Left but also on the Right, that sometimes I feel discouraged by all the crap that I hear or read. Here, with this letter, you have the opinion of a man who, believe it or not, and contrary to the vast majority of his peers, seems to have kept his senses, his intelligence, his judgement, his mental faculties. That’s certainly refreshing. So there is no way in hell that I want to miss that opportunity to underline that exercice. When people in charge, officially or in the shadows, conduct themselves as idiots, bandits and criminals, I think we have to say it and denounce it. But when they show opposite behavior, good and decent qualities, in all fairness, we have to pay tribute. It’s been a long time since I have not see anything coming out of the U.S., besides the work of my friends that I like to reference as often as I can, that seems moderate, thoughful and wise. That’s why I invite you to read this. The solution of our problems is not on the Right. The rich have to pay their taxes like any other citizens, in all fairness. And the solution is not on the Left. Seizing the wealth of the rich to give it to the poor makes no sense. When there are no rich anymore, who is going to invest huge chunks of capital when it is needed? The real solution is in the Center. Everybody is taxed by the governement at the same rate. Period. Thus, nobody can whine they are not treated with fairness. I also join a short clip of Buffet following the news that he had been chosen Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient for 2010.
This fantastic little film made in 1945 just after the war is a fine example of classic propaganda. The enemy is demonized, portrayed as the ultimate evil, etc. But the problem is that…roughly, it’s true. Germans are a ruthless people. They are as savage as any other nation with imperialistic ambitions can be. They want to conquer the world and rule it as emperors and dictators, not as liberal democrats. Starting in 1870, they were at the onset of every major conflict in the world. And if you look at their mythology, the Nordic/Germanic/Scandinavian myths, legends and stories, you will see that there is no trace of democracy, freedom of speech, love of one’s neighbour, sharing or giving to people in need. This mythology presents stories of warriors who fought to win. Period. There is no project of civilization, no one for the betterment of mankind, nothing in terms of social progress. In fact, the mythology is the complete opposite of the Judeo-Christian tradition in which the things that I have mentioned are important and take a central role. No. The Nordic/Germanic/Scandinavian mythology aims at one thing: conquer and rule. So it is no surprise if Germans tried on three different occasions in the last century to install their domination over the world.
One element that is tremendously important in this movie, is the assumption that Nazis are now (in 1945) in America planning for the next war. The film shows images of Nazi Party rallies in the U.S. where the swastika and the U.S. flag are side by side. And the narrator goes on to say that now they (the Nazis) are among us, trying to set the conditions necessary for them to establish their fascist state. Well…when you look at all the events that took place since 1945 in the U.S. and throughout the world, one has to be a fool to think that it is not exactly what has been taken place. Just think how our rights have diminished and are ridiculed now. Certain things that are going on today would have been literally impossible in the ’70 when I was a little kid. And when you look at the general level of intelligence, understanding and awareness that standard citizens possess today compared to what it was in the ’70 at the height of the Flower Power movement, of the Return-to-the-Land movement, etc, you will see that that level has decreased significantly. Conversations on politics, values and moral issues that were standard, normal and appreciated in these days are now marginal, exceptional and sometimes judged non-relevant, non-productive, boring or even suspect, curious, or labelled as « conspiracy theory ».
